Located in Saint-Emilion, Chateau Quintus took its current name in 2011, paying homage to the appellation’s Roman heritage. Currently recognised as a classified growth of Saint-Emilion, its winemaking history stretches back to the middle of the 19th century and holds the status as one of Saint-Emilion’s premier wines. Chateau Quintus won a gold medal in 1867 at the International Exposition in Paris, cementing its status as a celebrated estate of France. Occupying a limestone hill, the majority of vines are Merlot.
