With a 500-year history of sake brewing stretching back to the Edo era, Honda Shoten maintains its proud traditions and practises to produce top of the range Daiginjo sakes. Daiginjo sake uses heavily milled rice and only the core of the rice grain is fermented to make the sake. To produce only the best sake, Honda Shoten uses the finest Yamada Nikshi rice, grown locally in the Banshu area, exclusively.
