Han Fook Kwang
Mr Han Fook Kwang was an editor at The Straits Times editor for ten years, and a former Administrative Service officer. He studied in Raffles Institution, and was the editor of its self-funding magazine. In 1978, after his studies in Singapore and Britain, Mr Han Fook Kwang eventually decided to join the Singapore Government, where he spent nine years crafting policies that would change Singapore’s future.
Mr Han Fook Kwang is also known for his books that were written in collaboration with the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew. In 2008, Mr Lee Kuan Yew contacted Mr Han Fook Kwang to write another book regarding the former’s views on issues that he felt will affect Singapore’s future. The book took two years to write, with it officially launching in 2011. Through his book, readers can gain a deeper insight into the Mr Lee Kuan Yew’s thoughts, discovering the issues that mattered to the man that is widely considered as one of Singapore’s founding fathers.
