Lin See Yan
Schooled in philosophy & mathematics, Harvard-educated economist Lin See Yan is Malaysia’s first British Chartered statistician and best known for his views on economics. He was a banker for most of his career, employed with Bank Negara Malaysia for 34 years and serving 14 of them as the bank’s deputy governor. He also had the experience to be an advisor to all of Malaysia’s Prime Ministers and Finance Ministers. Beside sitting on a board of publicly listed and private companies, as well as universities, he is currently an independent strategic and financial consultant.
