Niall Kishtainy was a former economic policy advisor to the United Kingdom government and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. As an economist and historian, he also teaches at the London School of Economics’s masters programme in economic history. His past experiences include previous positions as a journalist and economic adviser in the Middle East.
