The Beefeater Distillery was first introduced in 1876 and is named after the Yeomen Warders, the ceremonial guards at the Tower London. The gin distillery is located in Kennington, London, and uses nine different botanicals in its production. Today, Beefeater has become of the world’s most well-known and iconic gins, made almost entirely according to the traditional 1800s recipe.
At the distillery, original Victorian pots are used in the production process, and a botanical room to store the fresh ingredients used can be found. Beefeater gins are the product of carefully selected botanicals and a detailed distillation process, creating an unsweetened and crystal clear gin loved by many. Gin lovers will be able to spot the light citrus zest of Beefeater gins amidst the stronger juniper notes, although products from Beefeater are also an excellent choice for those trying classic gin for the first time. Those that wish to try Beefeater gins in Singapore should drink it neat, or mixed with tonic as a cocktail.
