The namesake cognac house was founded by Louis Royer in 1853, which created cognacs from all six terroirs in the Cognac region of France. Situated on the banks of Charente River in the town of Jarnac, Louis Royer began his career as a cellar master and chief blender at another cognac house before he decided to set up his own distillery. Hailing from a family with traditions in bee-keeping, the Louis Royer brand logo bears a bee emblem which also represents the prevailing values of the cognac house – diligence and a lively, efficient organisation.
Five generations of the Royer family have continued to run the house, bringing experience and skill with the house’s traditional methods to produce a full range of cognacs that is distributed internationally. Perfecting the craft of Cognac-making into fine art, Louis Royer cognacs are renowned for their complexity and richness. The range of products includes the award-winning Louis Royer XO, a prized expression that offers a well-balanced palate. Browse Louis Royer cognacs and more in Singapore’s duty-free shopping today.
