Rémy Louis XIII
The incredibly premium Louis XIII cognac is produced by the highly esteemed House of Rémy Martin, a company that was founded in 1724. A 16th-century metallic flask found by Rémy Martin V at the Jarnac battlefield was the inspiration behind the brand’s iconic crystal decanter. The Louis XIII cognac is undoubtedly one of the most premium cognacs that can be found in the world, as reflected in both its price and outstanding quality.
The Louis XIII cognac was first created in 1874 and uses an exquisite blend of nearly 1,200 grapes sourced from the incredible Grande Champagne portion of the Cognac vineyard. Out of the 1,000 distilled samples of the Louis XIII cognac that would be sent to the Cellar Master, only a dozen may be selected for the blending process. Every year, the Cellar Master will decide on which casks should be blended together after a thorough inspection and sampling process. To contain the precious cognac, every crystal decanter is hand-blown and decorated by 11 craftsmen who use intricate ornaments and 20-carat gold around the decanter’s neck. Collectors in Singapore should undoubtedly purchase the exquisite Louis XIII cognac and add it to their collection.
