BOURGOGNE HERITAGE 1831 CHARDONNAY BLANC (Burgundy White Wine)
Burgundy, France
Exclusive
An delicious French Chardonnay white wine from one of Burgundy's premier wineries.
The Heritage 1831 series stems from our desire to highlight the historic know-how that has been passed down from generation to generation, and pays homage to the founders of our winery. The lovely 2020 Albert Bichot Bourgogne Chardonnay "Heritage 1831" has aromas of white peach dominate with floral and grilled almonds nuances. Nice volume on the palate with a beautiful texture and a mineral structure marked by notes of oak and great delicacy. Serve chilled and enjoy with seafood, fish cooked in sauce or simply prepared white meats.
Since 1350, the Bichot family has called Burgundy home. It was in 1831 that Bernard Bichot founded a merchant house bearing his name in Monthéli. His grandson, Albert Bichot, continued the family legacy by founding the winery, Maison Albert Bichot, at the end of the 19th century. The family heritage has continued to this day, with the 6th generations managing the winery. The winery’s mission is to utilize the best fruit to create the best wine and best expression of terroir. Albert Bichot owns 6 Domaines set at the heart of 5 great vinicultural regions that make up Burgundy: Chablis, Cote de Nuits, Cote de Beaune, Cote Chalonnaise, and Beaujolais. Each estate consists of vineyards cultivated with sustainable practices, as well as facilities, cellars and dedicated winemaking teams devoted to wines of that Domaine and region.
