This organic Jaltenango coffee is produced by a farm community that was created in 2011 to help members survive the coffee rust disaster. Grown at between 1,200 and 1,500 metres above sea level, this harvest is a Strictly High Grown coffee (coffee grown above 1,200 metres) and harvesting is done by hand between January and April. Wet-processing takes place close to the farms in a manual mill, with the coffee packed in beautiful, colourful jute bags. The brew produces gentle notes of raw cacao.
