The Balvenie 21 Year Old Portwood is a single malt Scotch whisky known for its refinement, balance, and complexity. It's created by finishing a marriage of rare Balvenie whiskies in ex-port wine casks (called port pipes) for a secondary maturation period, imparting notes of fruit, honey, and spice alongside a characteristic nutty finish. The result is a silky-smooth whisky with a distinctive nose of raisins and nuts, a fruity, honeyed, and spicy palate, and a long, gentle, nutty finish.
