THE 2020 HARVEST: 2020 was a dry and very precocious year both for the vine development (budbreak and flowering) and the harvests which started in August. The sanitary state was excellent, and the grapes were picked at their right level of maturity. These conditions offered us exceptionally high-quality grapes, and therefore the possibility to create the cuvée R.020. Wines from the 2020 harvest are intense, highly elegant with a beautiful aromatic persistence. Having a majority of 2020 wines in the blend, R.020 is a very promising wine and offers a beautiful aging potential (up to 15 years).

R.020 TASTING: Fresh, Intense, Mineral. Dominated by chardonnay at 51%, R.020 stands out with intense aromas of white flowers (acacia and hawthorn), strong notes of fresh citrus, peach or apricot while delivering an added note of mineral salinity on the palate.

R.020 MOMENT
R.020 can be enjoyed for aperitifs or for starting a meal with fine and fresh dishes such as fish flavored with citrus fruits or shellfish like langoustine. A seasonal vegetables tart or a risotto with green asparagus and parmesan could also be beautifully paired with our R.020
