Our original Chinoiserie design, developed in collaboration with Californian-based artist Donna Bronson, captures serene Singapore landmarks in embossed in ceramic to create a charming collectible vessel unique to TEMPLE Candles.
Look closely at the intricate detailing and you'll see the graceful White Rainbow Bridge and Bonsai Trees of Jurong Lake Gardens, the iconic Singapore Botanic Gardens Bandstand, Travellers Palms, and fragrant Frangipani flowers. As an interior designer, I’ve loved and lived with Chinoiserie style my whole life. It’s woven into every corner of my own home's aesthetic, and for years I’ve dreamed of creating something in this style especially for Singapore - a keepsake that’s elegant, meaningful, and designed to be repurposed and treasured long after the candle has finished.
This candle is the first in a collectible Limited Edition series, and I hope you love this very special Singapore Chinoiserie piece as much as I loved creating it for you.
