Craggy Range is increasingly becoming one of New Zealand’s great wine producers, producing world class New Zealand Pinot Noir. Craggy Range's Te Muna Road Vineyard, located in the cool climate region of Martinborough, is planted in stony, limestone influenced soils, resulting in aromatic and complex wines.

The 2021 Te Muna Road Pinot Noir is made from grapes handpicked from the higher terrace of the vineyard and fermented with indigenous yeast to produce a wine with a silky layered texture providing interest and complexity. Lifted morello cherry, with complex notes of fresh truffle and wet earth. The palate provides the perfect amount of structure to carry the volume of varietal fruit that presents. The finish is endless. Pair with poultry, fish, braised pork, and pasta dishes.

Craggy Range is a family owned winery established in 1998 and named by U.S publication Wine Enthusiast magazine as New World Winery of the Year for 2014. The winery is situated in the shadow of the spectacular Te Mata Peak in the premium wine growing area of Hawke’s Bay New Zealand. Based on the single vineyard philosophy of winemaking, Craggy Range was the first in the Southern Hemisphere to make single vineyard wines from multiple New Zealand regions with grape varieties matched to place. Craggy Range produces a collection of iconic wines from multiple regions in New Zealand. Owner Terry Peabody and his family pursued the single vineyard approach to winemaking, planting on green fields and bare land ensuring a focus on quality from the very beginning. New Zealand, with its diversity of soils types, offered the perfect location to plant the vines. From the stony, warm soils of the Gimblett Gravels in Hawke’s Bay to the volcanic, clay soils of Te Muna Road in Martinborough these exceptional vineyards produce wines with amazing aromatics, purity and complexity.
