The CUNE Reserva Rioja is a Tempranillo based red wine, one of Spain's most famous grape varietals. The wine was aged in oak for 18 months and 12 months in the bottle before release. Medium intensity ruby in colour with a pink hint at the rim. The nose shows good aromatic intensity with aromas of fresh wild berries and liquorice which are typical of wines made from Tempranillo grapes. This wine pairs well with all types of meat, fish, stews and cheeses.

The history of Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España began back in 1879, finding a home in the Barrio de la Estación train station in the town of Haro, Spain. Over 140 years and five generations later, the winery is still run by the same family, producing quality, artisanal and traditional wines that grace tables in more than 90 countries. An industry leader in Spain and winner of prestigious wine awards, CVNE has continued to grow while always remaining true to its objective of creating premium wines and tapping into the potential of the outstanding vineyards in its environs.
