The Glen Grant Exploration Series honours our forefather James ‘The Major’ Grant and his quest for inspiration as he explored the world, discovering a diversity and depth of flavours from his travels. The inaugural limited-edition release, Exploration No. 1 showcases The Glen Grant’s signature delicately aromatic and fruity character, finished in Rum Casks. After maturation in ex-Bourbon barrels, the whisky is transferred into the finest Rum Casks, resulting in a tropical influence of spice, rich dark sugar, ripe banana & toasted coconut. Bottled at 48% ABV and non-chill filtered, Exploration No.1 is a tale of sweet, complex flavours that define its unique character, achieved only by a finish in rum casks.
