Insisting on barley only ever dried by air, using 6 years to prepare the sherry casks by removing astringent and tannins, and use non-chilled filtration to retain the rich flavors and make the taste shining. To pay tribute to the craftsmanship and a green distiller, the extraordinary and rare expression of 53 Year Old has been sitting in a mixture of American Oak Sherry Butts and Refill Hogsheads. The whisky is deep bodied with ruby luster and the alcoholic content is 45.8%ABV. The whisky is bottled in a specially ordered and handcrafted stunning crystal decanter. Each bottle has imprinted with the brand’s unique goose icon and is individually numbered. Each wooden gift box contains a 25ml miniature at the bottom. You can still taste this extraordinary Glengoyne 53 Year Old having the bottle in your collection. There are only 100 bottles release and is travel retail exclusive. Nose: The red apply aroma intermingling with floral notes characteristics of Glengoyne, accompanied by pecans notes and brown sugar from long maturation in the sherry barrels, followed by wisps of coffee, pine needles, tobacco, like a gorgeous banquet turning on your tasting buds. Taste: Very rich with intriguing depth, fudge, spicy, cocoa flavors lingering in the mouth. Finish: Long and continuous, cinnamon, slightly peppery and spicy.
