Jameson Triple Triple Marsala Cask Edition is a blended Irish whiskey comprising pot still whiskeys aged in a combination of American oak barrels, Oloroso sherry wine casks and Marsala wine casks, blended with grain whiskeys aged in American oak barrels.
The inclusion of whiskey matured in Marsala casks from Sicily helps to contribute flavours including dried apricot, walnut and woodland spices.
Bourbon and sherry meet Marsala casks for a rich depth of flavour and an extra drop of smoothness.
Used to season and age Sicily’s signature sweet wines, Marsala casks are an established cask finish for SP+ whiskeys. These more limited, hand-selected casks add rich notes of vanilla, apricot and tamarind.
