This Jura Rare Vintage was distilled on an Autumn day on 28th Oct 1993, just months before Jura as purchased by Whyte and Mackay. The cool temperatures of the distillation date allowed this grassy new make spirit to slowly mature in the perfect surroundings of the ex-bourbon casks, imparting its subtle coconut and vanilla aromas.
Developing in stature over the following 2 years, the spirit was then transferred into hand selected Cabernet Sauvignon barriques for a finish lasting 13 years.
