"Kujira 25 Years Old Ryukyu Whisky" is an exquisite
whisky created by the solid techniques and meticulous
craftsmanship that Masahiro Shuzo has developed over
140 years since its founding in 1883. Master blender
Naoshi Arakaki carefully selects and blends the finest
Ryukyu whisky aged over 25 years in sherry, bourbon,
and white oak barrels, which have been aged for an
exceptionally long time in the subtropical climate of
Okinawa. The tropical fruits and plants aromas and
flavors lead to a majestic and pleasant Oriental aftertaste,
reminiscent of a whale.
TASTING NOTE
• Nose ⎪ Tropical fruits, floral notes, sweet coconut,
and a hint of aged leather.
• Palate ⎪ Rich and multi-layered with a majestic and
pleasant Oriental taste, dark chocolate,
and dried fruits.
• Finish ⎪ Warm aftertaste of spices, dried fruits, and
a touch of smokiness.
