Bin 150 Marananga Shiraz is a sub-regional expression that is unmistakably Penfolds in character. Standing on its own two feet, this release delivers a contemporary Shiraz alternative, framed by a mix of oaks: French and American, old and new – crafted in accordance with the traditional Penfolds method. It is a heartland Barossa style. The Marananga sub-regional characteristics of saturated colours, dark fruit profile and ripe tannins are enhanced by the Penfolds method of vinification and the use of hogsheads and puncheons.
