Silverado Miller Ranch Napa Sauvignon Blanc
Napa Valley, California
92 Points – Wine Enthusiast
Located west of the Napa River and south of Yountville is the Miller Ranch Yountville Vineyard, noted for its Sauvignon Blanc. Bright and spritzy, with light aromatics of grapefruit, pineapple, and kiwi. Passionfruit, mango and lemon curd flavors burst through this well-balanced wine with bright acidity and hints of lime zest and tangerine on the finish.
Nestled in the hills on the Northwest side of the Stags Leap District, Silverado Vineyards has become an iconic estate and home to some of Napa Valley’s most-recognized wines for almost forty years. Established in 1981, by Ron and Diane Miller and her mother, Lillian Disney, the winery was named in honor of the Silverado Vineyard -- one of the first four in Stags Leap District to plant Cabernet in the 1960s. Today, Silverado sustainably farms 360 acres across six estate vineyards in Napa Valley. Each vineyard played an important role in establishing the reputation of its appellation: Carneros, Coombsville, Yountville and Stags Leap District.
