Ink is the enigmatic accord chosen for Le Vestiaire des Parfums’s new scented icon: MUSE. A strikingly streamlined composition crafted by Principal Perfumer Marie Salamagne : "The ink reveals enigmatic woody notes, intimate and elegant smoky facets. It veils the skin in subtle dark, metallic tones, slightly iris-y, earthy. For me, the ink takes on the colors of creativity and mystery. It stimulates the imagination." The dusky note is etched onto a precious ingredient Marie Salamagne compares both to paper and skin, for its softness. Carnal and supple, iris concrete offers powdery, buttery, woody and leather facets for a perfect blend. Empowered by a sensual Bourbon vanilla absolute pod – another sublime material crafted for YSL -- the result is what Marie Salamagne calls “a skin scent that explodes”.
