Château Croizet-Bages is a wine estate located in the hamlet of Bages, in the heart of the Pauillac appellation in the Médoc region. Founded in the 18th century by the Croizet brothers, the estate was classified as a fifth grand cru in the famous 1855 classification. Since 1942, it has belonged to the Quié family, who also own the châteaux Rauzan-Gassies and Bel-Orme.

The vineyard covers 30 hectares in a single plot, planted mainly with Cabernet Sauvignon (62%), supplemented by Merlot (28%), Petit Verdot (6%) and Cabernet Franc (4%). The deep gravel and gravelly sand soils promote optimal natural drainage, allowing the grapes to reach ideal maturity.

The wines of Château Croizet-Bages are renowned for their elegant structure and aging potential. They exhibit aromas of black fruit, cedar, and tobacco, typical of the great wines of Pauillac. The estate also produces a second wine, Alias de Croizet-Bages , offering a more accessible approach while retaining the characteristics of the terroir.
