True to the Spice Islands Distilling Co. charter, East Indies Bali Pomelo Pink Gin showcases unique Indonesian botanicals, authentically distilled in small batches in a handmade 550 liter copper still. In this distillation is the king of citrus, the Bali pomelo (a huge, fleshy and uniquely Balinese version of the more common pomelo) is distilled with fresh Bedugul strawberries and a supporting cast of more typical botanicals such as juniper, coriander and Angelica root. On the nose there’s a mouthwatering aroma of freshly cut pomelo and grapefruit. On the palate, this gin is dry but has a wonderful round berry character, which is further complemented by the natural infusion of Rosella to give the gin it’s distinctive salmon-pink hue.
