Our popular Big Easy range is led by a classic Red Blend: Shiraz-forward with notes of Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvèdre, Grenache, Viognier and Cinsault. Perfection is in the process - after primary fermentation, some tanks undergo extended maceration, with each variety separately matured in oak before final blending, ultimately producing wines as generous and easy-going as Ernie Els himself.

Tasting Note

The Big Easy Red Blend is arguably the most serious and riveting yet. The dry vintage was conducive to producing a superbly-concentrated, beguiling wine that dazzles the senses. Complexity is revealed with elegantly ripe black berry, liquorice, fine Chinese spice and smoked herbs. A majority of Shiraz cloaks the palate with fruit-laden tannins, covered in melted milk chocolate and Morello cherries.
