- 10% Amino acids, electrolytes, & natural amino acid derivative Pyroglutamic acid (PCA): Strengthen skin barrier and effectively deliver soothing hydration with this electrolyte cocktail. Electrolytes are minerals (potassium, sodium, calcium, chloride, phosphate, and magnesium) that attract water, and are lost through sweat. With their extremely small molecular size (<500DA), they are able to penetrate quicker into the skin, just like how sports drinks help to replace lost water and electrolytes after a vigorous workout. By replenishing electrolytes with this skin quenching serum, the skin cells and in turn, the skin, are able to regulate and rebalance their pH level, allowing them to attract and hold moisture to stay hydrated for longer hours.
