Our Riesling based Rosé Vermouth is the perfect homage to our blossom rich springs and long warm summers in the Saar valley. The bitter sweet symphony is carefully crafted with hand-picked Riesling grapes and regional botanicals such as homegrown rhubarb, red vineyard peach, grape flowers, bitter orange, cranberry, elderflower and passion flower.

The return to old traditions in harmony with new ideas has always been part of the history of the Saar and Moselle region. Ferdinand's - named after the co-founder of the VDP, the Royal Prussian forester Ferdinand Geltz (1851-1925) - is deeply rooted in the character and heritage of the Saar Valley. The Vallendar family has been producing the finest spirits in the idyllic village of Bilzingen-Wincheringen for many generations. Craftsmanship and alchemy are combined here in a proud tradition, firmly rooted in the region: the true essence of the Saar – an elegant combination of ancient artisanal traditions and innovation – distilled to perfection.
