Paso Robles, California, USA
White Wine, Sauvignon Blanc
James Suckling, 92
Spotlights aromas of honeysuckle, lime, sweet herbs, and fig. These aromas are complemented on the palate by the bright flavors of grapefruit, kiwi, key lime, and passionfruit, with the rich texture and long finish provided by acacia barrels.
J. Lohr Winery was founded in 1974 by Jerry Lohr, who pioneered winegrowing on California’s Central Coast, first in Monterey’s Arroyo Seco and later in Paso Robles. Today, it is one of the largest family-owned wineries in the U.S., with over 4,000 acres of vineyards and a reputation for sustainable, estate-grown wines.
