The wine shows an intense crimson-red colour. It is very fruity on the nose, and unfolds mainly notes of ripe cherry and blackberry, in addition to black plum and dried fig. As usual, it also presents interesting notes that derive from its ageing in barrels, contributing vanilla, nutmeg, and a slight touch of liqueur wine. It feels very balanced and enveloping on the palate, with soft tannins and great body.
