Depicting Singapore’s most sentimental landmarks, these specially commissioned ceramic candles capture the city’s tranquil charms in a beautifully crafted Chinoiserie scene. Each candle is meticulously handmade from the finest clay by skilled Ceramicists, then lovingly hand-poured and packaged to perfection, in Singapore.

Our original Chinoiserie design, developed in collaboration with Californian-based artist Donna Bronson, captures serene Singapore landmarks in embossed in ceramic to create a charming collectible vessel unique to TEMPLE Candles.

Look closely at the intricate detailing and you'll see the graceful White Rainbow Bridge and Bonsai Trees of Jurong Lake Gardens, the iconic Singapore Botanic Gardens Bandstand, Travellers Palms, and fragrant Frangipani flowers. Oriental Magpie-Robins sing sweetly above the lantern-lit Buddhist Temple of Chinatown, while intricate lattice fencing guides your gaze across the shimmering waters to the golden shores of Sentosa Island.

The Grande Dame of the lily world, the exotic Oriental Lily commands attention with a powerful and unmistakably intense fragrance like no other. An exotically intense fragrance that evokes the enchanting atmosphere of an Oriental garden in full bloom.

Pronounced 'sheen waa zuh ree', Chinoiserie is a Western-created style that blends Eastern aesthetics with European taste, incorporating elements like pagodas, birds, flowers and figures as an interpretation of Chinese motifs and artworks.

A PERSONAL NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER
As an interior designer, I’ve loved and lived with Chinoiserie style my whole life. It’s woven into every corner of my own home's aesthetic, and for years I’ve dreamed of creating something in this style especially for Singapore - a keepsake that’s elegant, meaningful, and designed to be repurposed and treasured long after the candle has finished.
This candle is the first in a collectible Limited Edition series, and I hope you love this very special Singapore Chinoiserie piece as much as I loved creating it for you.
