Wynn’s were one of the founding families of the Coonawarra region in South Australia back in 1951. Famed for its cooler climate premium expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon, due to the influence of the Southern Ocean. The flavor profile is more medium-bodied, elegant & aromatic than McLaren Vale & Barossa Valley Cabernets, but still ripe.
Fresh blackcurrant with gentle eucalypt notes, followed by dark chocolate & bay leaf herbaceous notes. Medium-bodied with fine grained tannins & complexity from maturation in new, seasoned French & American oak.
