WHAT IS COGNAC?

Cognac made in the wine growing regions of Charente and Charente-Maritime surrounding the town of Cognac, France. It is made from distilling white wine to create eau-de-vie, ageing it in oak barrels for a minimum of two years and then blending different eaux-de-vie to create a specific flavour.

HOW TO DRINK COURVOISIER® COGNAC?

Cognac may be drunk neat, with ice or diluted with a little water. It can also be mixed in a wide range of long drinks and cocktails.

I HAVE OWNED A BOTTLE OF COURVOISIER® COGNAC FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS – WILL THE LIQUID STILL BE THE SAME QUALITY?

As with most spirits, if you ensure it is kept in the right conditions then the high quality of your Courvoisier® cognac should remain intact. Make sure it is store upright, out of direct sunlight at room temperature. Extreme temperature (hot or cold) and bright light can have a negative impact on the quality.

HOW LONG MAY I KEEP AN OPENED BOTTLE OF COURVOISIER® COGNAC?

If stored in the right conditions, our advise is to enjoy your Courvoisier® within one year of opening in order to fully benefit from its rich aromas and flavors.
