A rare, aged Ardbeg of colossal character, inspired by the highest point of lslay's rugged and untamed landscape. Rich, malty and biscuity, tangy dried fruits flow alongside hints of hickory smoked ham, barbecue spare ribs, and a burst of treade toffee. A powerful note of tarry peat smoke, tempered by a distinct sweetness in demerara sugar and syrupy figs. Aniseed bonbons and a touch of nut toffee fuse with flavours of charcoal, graphite, leather and damp peat bog. The long and lingering finish leads the senses towards subtly briny notes. Touches of eucalyptus, camphor, menthol and tar.
