BELLEVOYE black is the peated whisky of France. An intense empyreumatic nose which evokes ash, toast, and coffee. Subtle touches of spices (cinnamon and cloves), and liquorice enhance the complexity.
The taste is full, fat, and smooth. There is a hint of salt, which gives a fresh and harmonious balance. The whole is wrapped elegant tannins, and the finish is long and lasting with its aromas so characteristically peaty. 43% alc.
