On the nose, black fruit and blackcurrant aromas are accented by pretty vanilla notes slightly smoked. The attack is supple with a nice tension in the middle of the mouth, followed by a persistent and crisp finish. 85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Mr. Martigne, grandson of a former wine merchant from Libourne made an acquisition in 1984 along with his wife. They purchased their property in the borough of Pey d’Armens at the bottom of the slopes of Saint Emilion. The property included several buildings that could be used as wine cellars. The house is located opposite the church of Armens, which became the inspiration for the name of the Château. In 2016, the Château has been bought by the Domaines Comte de Malet Roquefort. This wine is produced in its own cellar by the Technical team of Chateau La Gaffelière, 1er Grand Cru Classé of Saint Emilion.
