The GRAND VIN reflects its terroir, wild yet generous, raw yet elegant, fresh yet warming. In the glass, its deep, dark colour promises great concentration of aromas, and the eye is drawn to its velvety appearance and the hints of purple dancing in the glass. On the nose come the intensity and generosity of this region with jammy black fruit, blackcurrant, blackberry and black cherry notes paired with aromas of garrigue, lavender, thyme and liquorice, enhanced with touches of soft spice and cocoa. On the palate this is a powerful, rich wine heightened with firm, beautifully fresh tannins.
This bottle will open up and develop its most beautiful aromas as time passes. Maturing in barrels has softened its wild temperament with delicate vanilla and light caramel notes.
Vinification
One week's fermentation and 20-23 days maceration. Regular remontage and extraction appropriate to the potential of each vat.

Ageing
12 months in French oak wine barrel.
With its dark crimson colour and purplish tints, the Grand Vin is like the vintage conditions: complex, rich and generous. The bouquet starts by a great minty freshness followed by ripe black fruits and spices aromas. On the palate, this wine is round, characterized by well-integrated tannins. The long and silky finish reveals a very good ageing potential.
