LLAMA OLD VINE RED BLEND

From one of Chile's most notable family-owned wineries comes an Old Vine Red Blend sourced from 100 year old vines.
LLAMA as its namesake, this wine embodies the distinctive spirit of our vineyards, spanning the foothills of the Andes. This blend brings together two of its most renowned varieties Bonarda and Malbec, Each are aged individually for six months on 3-year-old French Oak Barrels and then blended together to age for a minimum of six additional months in bottle. The 2021 Llama Old Vine Red Blend boasts an elegant aromas and flavors of plums, cherry, and violet flowers. It is ripe with strawberries and dark fruit. This full-bodied red finishes with well integrated tannins and moderate oak. This blend can pair with a handful of dishes but a few we highly recommend trying are: baked ham with a honey, Dijon and thyme glaze or an old fashioned meat loaf.
Palate:
Flavors of plums, cherry, and violet flowers. It is ripe with strawberries and dark fruit. This full-bodied red finishes with well integrated tannins and moderate oak.

Exclusively 100-Year Old Vine in the heart of Alto Agrelo, Lujan de Cuyo. LLAMA, as its namesake, embodies the distinctive spirit of our vineyards, spanning the foothills of the Andes. LLAMA is from the Belasco de Baquedano estate, situated in the Agrelo district of Lujan de Cuyo. The vineyards soar up to 3,346 feet, where the conditions are excellent to produce elegant yet powerful premium wines. Warm days are offset by cool nights produces aroma and flavor, while holding acidity.
