Margaret River, Australia

Vasse Felix is heralded as the founding wine estate in Margaret River and one of Australia's pioneer wineries. The signature Chardonnay of Vasse Felix from Margaret River, Australia. It is made from a selection of premier Chardonnay parcels from Vasse Felix’s vineyards in a modern Margaret River style with elegance, power and restraint.
Vasse Felix Chardonnay is a pale straw color with a light golden tinge. On the nose, hints of honey dew, white peach and pear are surrounded by lemon curd, bread dough and fresh straw. The complexities of limestone dust, fresh spring grass and chamomile add the typical savoury, flinty, wild component. The palate is immediately crisp, with bright acidity and a fresh plump fruit line. It has an appealing chalky mouthfeel with a wonderful dry finish. A nutmeg custard and pear perfume remains. Super structured Chardonnay.
Established in 1967 by regional pioneer Dr. Tom Cullity, Vasse Felix is Margaret River's founding wine estate.
Pristine isolation, ancient lands and twin oceans make Margaret River a wine paradise and one of the world’s greatest environments to grow ultra-premium Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. These varieties, alongside Shiraz and Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blends are the primary focus at Vasse Felix.
All wines are grown in Vasse Felix’s four Margaret River vineyards then vinified and bottled within the modern winery, situated at the Home Vineyard overlooking the Wilyabrup Brook.
The Vasse Felix family of wines reflect their commitment to expressing and exploring the very best of Margaret River, and continuing Tom Cullity's original aim to "make the best possible wine".
