The holy trinity is also the name of the Anglican Church in Lyndoch. Grant’s great grandfather, John Burge, helped to build the church by carting stone and slate to the site prior to its construction in 1860.
The holy trinity is a richly flavored and elegantly structured GSM that continues the long and lauded heritage for this traditional blend in the Barossa valley.
The nose is awash with earthy notes, warm curry spices, cherry liqueur and juicy plum. The medium-full bodied wine is filled with vibrant flavors of fresh red fruits and vanilla, complemented by fine and ripe tannins that run the length of the palate. The dense, mouth-filling mid palate and long, textural finish combine to create a wine that is rich and elegant, sweet and savory and will sit beautifully on any table now, or cellar gracefully for 8-12 years.
