This whisky is INITIALLY MATURED IN AMERICAN OAK CASKS, enhancing Glenfiddich’s signature notes of sweet orchard fruit and toffee apple.
It is then FINISHED IN OLOROSO SHERRY CASKS, crafted from EUROPEAN OAK and sourced from Spain, the cornerstone of rich and complex flavour at Glenfiddich.
THIS FINISH LASTS BETWEEN 4–6 MONTHS, introducing layers of dried fruit, warm spice and oaky cinnamon while elevating the core character.
RATHER THAN A FULL MARRIAGE, THIS IS A DEFINED FINISH, creating a whisky that is rich, harmonious and true to both Speyside and sherry cask tradition
