Vasse Felix
CLASSIC DRY ROSÉ
Margaret River, Australia
92 points, Top Value - The Real Review
One of Australia's pioneer wineries and Margaret River's founding wine estate. A light, dry and refreshing Australia Rosé, made from Shiraz fruit grown in the Margaret River of Western Australia. Crafted in the provençal style of Rosé known for its pale colour and light, dry elegance while embracing the delicate fruit perfume and succulence of its Shiraz base.
The 2022 Vasse Felix Classic Dry Rosé is a crystalline pale salmon pink in color with a very refined, complex and light perfume of strawberry cream, musk and fresh rose petal, with a hint of blood orange and oregano. Arrives on the palate soft and round, with luscious plump fruit. Subtle natural acidity leads to a long, dry mineral finish. Enjoy with fresh fruit salads, light fish dishes, or as an aperitif.
Established in 1967 by regional pioneer Dr. Tom Cullity, Vasse Felix is Margaret River's founding wine estate.
Pristine isolation, ancient lands and twin oceans make Margaret River a wine paradise and one of the world’s greatest environments to grow ultra-premium Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. These varieties, alongside Shiraz and Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blends are the primary focus at Vasse Felix.
All wines are grown in Vasse Felix’s four Margaret River vineyards then vinified and bottled within the modern winery, situated at the Home Vineyard overlooking the Wilyabrup Brook.
The Vasse Felix family of wines reflect their commitment to expressing and exploring the very best of Margaret River, and continuing Tom Cullity's original aim to "make the best possible wine".
